Description

whitney2Interpretive sign telling the stories of other buildings, mostly mills, near the plaza

Outdoor interpretive signs at Whitney Plaza, located a little over a block away from Mill City Museum and the Stone Arch Bridge in downtown Minneapolis, discuss the existing Whitney Lofts building, other buildings nearby including many mills, and the use of water power from the Mississippi River for the milling industry. The sign construction needed to match existing signs within the area, including black bases and a six or eight foot length.
