The Process

Hello! Booking needed a new brand identity, new logo, and new website to help them promote artists, supply information to venues, and transmit password protected information to their clients.

As part of a design team we started with the brand identity and logo. Secondly, we developed the site architecture. Once approved we mocked up various templates in Photoshop one of which was approved to begin the web development.

We looked at various back-end systems but decided to use Joomla due to its robustness, scalability, password protected usernames, and wide availability of open source widgets. With a few custom PHP front-end pages to query different information from the MySQL back-end and edits to the administration data entry, the site provided all of the dynamic functionality required of the client. The content management system also allowed a late request of displaying an artist at random each time the homepage loads.
